Patrick M. Conran

Patrick M. Conran has litigated numerous cases in the Massachusetts state trial courts involving issues of automobile and homeowner’s insurance coverage, bad faith, fraud, premises liability, and negligence. Mr. Conran has extensive civil litigation experience, including, but not limited to, defending insured’s in motor vehicle actions, defending insurers in M.G.L. c. 93A and c. 90, § 34M (Personal Injury Protection) actions and pursuing declaratory judgment actions with respect to interpreting Massachusetts insurance policies. Mr. Conran also has experience in defending physicians and other medical providers against malpractice claims and businesses against personal injury claims. 

Early on in his career, Mr. Conran was a Bar Advocate for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts assigned to defend indigent criminal defendants in the Boston Municipal and East Boston District Courts followed by a period working as an attorney and private investigator investigating automobile, premises and professional liability claims. Mr. Conran has made numerous presentations to claims and SIU personnel with respect to insurance related issues.  Most recently, Mr. Conran addressed the changes to Massachusetts Law and Massachusetts Automobile Insurance Policies with respect to Ride Sharing Applications during a conference of insurance claims professionals. Mr. Conran has almost exclusively represented insurance companies throughout his twenty-nine (29) year career. 

After graduating from Yale University, but before attending Suffolk University Law School, Mr. Conran tried out for the New England Patriots, Buffalo Bills and New York Jets in three (3) consecutive years. He is also currently the head coach of the Medfield High School Boys Volleyball team.
